DISTRIBUTIVE PRONOUNS
According to Webster's Dictionary Distributive means expressing separation; denoting a taking singly, not collectively; as, a distributive adjective or pronoun, such as each, either, every; a distributive numeral.
A Distributive Pronoun considers members of a group separately, rather than collectively. They include each, any, either, neither and others. Examples
• Men take each other's measure when they react. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
• Each of them got a prize.
• They got a prize each
• They each got a prize.
(Here each means each individual person.)
• Everyone loves his country
• Everyone of them supported the proposal.
• Either of you has to come to the meeting.
• Neither of them was present at the meeting.
(Note that either and neither are always singular in form and take a singular verb.)
