KINDS OF NOUNS
A single noun can fall into more than one class. Here is an example:
• Sarah has known five Ahmads in his life.
• Ahmads-proper, concrete and count.
• Nouns may be made plural, usually with the suffix -s or -es, as in books and rabbits.
• Nouns show ownership with the addition of an apostrophe and, sometimes, an additional -s, as in a book's pages, fifty beys uniforms.
• Nouns may be countable (1 table, 2 tables, 3 tables, etc.) or uncountable (salt, ail).
